Who is LunAzul?
My full name is Agata Ivanna Pogorelsky but I'm better known as Ivanna or LunAzul. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina I migrated to Canada in 2003 and became a nomad shortly after.
As a multidisciplinary artist, I love exploring all kinds of media and allow my work to be a reflection of the world as I experience it.
Bold, colourful and ever-changing, the art I make is a representation of my personality and has the intention to inspire new ways of seeing. I enjoy taking a break from the ordinary and inviting others to join me.
Photography is how I immortalize moments, share stories, stimulate and transport you somewhere new.
Abstract painting is a means to express my rawest emotions and random thoughts. It's how I connect with my inner world, release tension and channel movement.
Digital art is the tool I use to create parallel worlds and mesmerize all those who dare discover them.
Performance is how I bring all these artistic expressions into the fourth dimension, to include my body as part of the experience.
Inspired by my many travels, music and nature, my work can be described as vibrant, striking, evocative and expressive. I'm constantly exploring and pushing my ability to see beyond what's visible, balancing my technical, creative and intuitive skills to capture the essence of what I see from behind the lens.
In my professional work as artist, my list of clients include high-end boutique hotels, restaurants, musicians, small and medium companies and startups. Each client has a different need and I'm proud to offer you a customized look and feel that adapts to your vision.
In addition to specific work for clients, I also license my work for other purposes.
When I'm not working as an artist, you will find me teaching, making orgonites, performing, working with children or travelling. I also enjoy organizing art happenings, networking, scuba diving and being out in nature.
