ABOUT THIS ARTWORK:
This painting represents the energy of Yesod (9th sefira), the foundation of our hidden identity, the bridge between what we show and what we truly are. In this piece, the female figure appears to be defined by sharp lines, but are they real boundaries or just a construction?

Yesod speaks to us about the inner self and the outer self, about how the image we believe we project also shapes our behavior. We adapt to what we think others expect, and in that process, the truth of our being can become concealed beneath layers of perception.

The color orange, vibrant and warm, is the color of Yesod. It symbolizes creative energy, emotional connection and the desire for expression. Here, orange envelops the figure with a glow that seems to illuminate her from within, yet it also immerses her in an ambiguous atmosphere: is it light, or is it a veil?

This work wants to reminds us that identity is not static, but rather a shifting reflection of our perceptions and experiences. The lines that define the body are firm yet fragmented, as if the figure exists in a space between the solid and the ethereal.

In this painting, the woman seems caught between her visible form and the intangible truth that dwells within her. It is a reminder that what we believe ourselves to be and what others see are only partial versions of our essence.

This artwork invites us to ask: to what extent is our image a projection or a genuine reflection of our inner self? In Yesod, truth lies in the integration of both worlds. Only when we acknowledge our inner and outer layers with honesty can we begin to align who we are with what we show.
