ABOUT THIS ARTWORK:
Jokhma, the second Sefirah on the Tree of Life, is the seed of wisdom, the lightning flash of inspiration that arises before thought takes shape. It represents direct perception, pure intuition that grasps truth without the need for rational analysis. It is the channel through which the unknown becomes present in a sudden spark of understanding.

In this painting, the creative process itself reflects the essence of Jokhma. It began with an explosion of color, an emotional chaos manifested on the canvas, only to be covered by darkness a year later. However, just like the hidden wisdom of Jokhmá, the truth never fully disappears.

As I slowly removed the excess paint, colors and textures emerged, illuminating the piece once again. The 3 Hebrew letters on the bottom represents one of the 72 names of God: the Silent Companion.

If one observes the painting closely, hidden faces and energies imprinted on the canvas can be discovered. These forms were not consciously planned but captured and expressed intuitively, reflecting the essence of Jokhmá: a connection to the unseen, to knowledge that does not pass through the rational mind but arises as an echo of something greater.

Amidst the darkness, the Silent Companion lights the way, reminding us that true wisdom is not always found in the obvious but in what reveals itself when we learn to see with different eyes. This painting captures that essence: the intuition that pierces through darkness, the spark of understanding that arises effortlessly, the subtle presence that guides without imposing.

It stands as a testament to the knowledge that manifests when we allow truth to emerge on its own, when we let inner light dissolve the shadow and reveal what has always been there, waiting to be seen.
